2. Products & hand-dyed characteristics
Our yarns are hand-dyed in small batches or as one-of-a-kind studies.
Variations in shade, speckle distribution, and pattern placement are a natural part of the process and are not considered defects.
Product photos are representative; screen settings may affect color appearance.
3. Pricing & taxes
Prices are shown in DKK (unless otherwise stated) and include applicable Danish/EU taxes where required.
For deliveries outside the EU, local import duties/taxes may apply (see Section 8).
4. Orders & payment
An order is binding when you receive an order confirmation email.
We reserve the right to cancel orders in cases of suspected fraud, pricing errors, or inventory issues. If we cancel, you will be fully refunded.
5. Production time & dispatch
Orders are packed and shipped from our studio production facility in Denmark.
Dispatch times are stated on the website and may vary during launches, drops, or holidays.
Tracking is provided for shipped orders once the carrier scans the parcel.
6. Delivery & risk
Risk transfers to you when the parcel is delivered to the address or pickup point you selected.
If tracking shows “delivered” but you cannot locate the parcel, you must contact the local carrier first. We will assist with information and carrier claims where possible.
7. Complaints (defects) — 2-year legal warranty
If your item is faulty or does not match the description, you have the right to complain in accordance with applicable consumer law. Consumers generally have a 2-year legal right to complain about defects present at the time of purchase. Please contact us as soon as possible after discovering an issue.
8. International deliveries (Non-EU: UK/US/CA etc.)
Import duties, taxes, and customs handling fees are the customer’s responsibility unless explicitly stated otherwise.
We cannot refund duties/taxes charged by customs authorities.
9. Studio pickup (Denmark only)
Studio pickup is free and by appointment only.
You will receive an email when your order is ready and instructions for collection.
No drop-ins, to protect production workflow.
10. Liability
We are not liable for delays caused by carriers, customs, weather, or events outside our control.
Our maximum liability is limited to the amount paid for the affected order, except where mandatory law requires otherwise.
11. Complaints & dispute resolution (Denmark)
If you are unhappy with a purchase, please contact us first at loli@yarnthropology.com so we can try to resolve it.
If we cannot reach a solution, consumers may be able to use Denmark’s public consumer complaints system (Mediation Team for Consumer Complaints and the Consumer Complaints Board via Klageportalen).
