Returns & Refunds

1. Right of withdrawal (EU/EEA customers)
If you purchased online and are an EU/EEA consumer, you generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the day you receive your goods.
To exercise withdrawal, you must notify us within 14 days of receiving your order at loli@yarnthropology.com (a clear statement is sufficient).
After notifying us, you have a further 14 days to return the goods.

2. Return window (our standard policy)
You may request a return within 14 calendar days of delivery.

3. Return conditions
To be eligible, items must be:

  • Unused, unknitted, unwound, and in original condition/packaging

  • Free from odor, pet hair, smoke, or damage

If items have been used beyond what is necessary to inspect them (e.g., wound/knitted/odor/damaged), we may reduce the refund to reflect any diminished value.

4. Hand-dyed characteristics
Hand-dyed variation (shade/speckle/placement) is expected and is not considered a defect.

5. Non-returnable items (if applicable)
Gift cards are non-refundable.
If you sell made-to-order/customized items in the future, these may be excluded from withdrawal/returns where legally permitted.

6. Return shipping costs
Return shipping is paid by the customer (unless we sent the wrong item or the item is defective).
We recommend tracked returns; we cannot be responsible for return parcels lost in transit.

7. Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will confirm approval/rejection by email.
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method.
Refunds are issued within 14 days from the day we receive your withdrawal notice. We may withhold the refund until we have received the returned goods (or you provide documentation that the goods have been sent), where permitted by law.
Original outbound shipping is not refunded except where required by law.

8. Exchanges
If you want an exchange, contact us first. Availability may be limited for small-batch and OOAK items.

9. Damaged or incorrect items
If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, email us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of:

  • outer packaging

  • inner packaging

  • item(s) and any damage
    We will resolve via replacement, exchange, or refund depending on stock.

10. Customs/duties (Non-EU)
Duties/taxes paid to customs authorities are not refundable by us.
