Every skein is dyed with care for both fiber and environment. I use acid dyes because they are vibrant, reliable, and safe when handled responsibly. Each bath is designed to exhaust nearly all pigment, leaving almost nothing behind.
The process is slow and deliberate. I balance pH, heat, and color for each yarn, then steam-set to lock in depth without harming the fibers.
When dyeing is done, no water goes down the drain. Every leftover bath is sent to a professional facility to be purified and reused. It’s an extra step, but one I believe in.
Natural doesn’t always mean gentle. Many “natural” dyes demand more land, water, or additives than you’d expect. Sustainability is about impact, not label.
To me, dyeing is more than color. It’s memory, care, and respect for everything that made this yarn possible.
